Gal Gadot is a Wonder W-O-M-A-N
I have no doubt that Gal Gadot can ‘ Rub & scrub this old house til it’s shinin like a dime,
feed the baby, grease the car, & powder her face at the same time’.
Famed lyric writing duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller of ‘I’m a Woman’ musical fame, certainly had someone like Gal Gadot in mind when they wrote that song, over 44 years ago.
As most of you know, Gal is the Israeli actress cast as Wonder Woman, the daughter of Zeus, in the DC Comics upcoming Fantasy Action film of the same name.
If you’ve seen Gal’s introduction as Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, or other films such as: The Fast and Furious series, or even Triple 9, you know what I’m talking about. Gal comes with a Warning Label. Do not get in front of this woman on the 12 items or less lane with 13 items in your cart. You will be toast.
Maybe it’s because Gal is 5’10”, an international supermodel trained in Swordsmanship, Kung Fu, Kickboxing and Brazilian Street Fighting, or maybe because in Gal competed as Miss Israel in the 2004 Miss Universe Pagaent, or that in 2012, Shalom Life ranked her the 5th most talented, intelligent, funny and gorgeous Jewish women in the world, which has now expanded to the DC Universe.
Adding to the excitement of the Wonder Woman film, is director Patty Jenkins. Patty not only wrote, but also directed Monster. Monster is the Charlize Theron Academy Award winning biopic prostitute turned serial killer, Aileen Wuormos. Patty won’t be making a dancing unicorn movie with Wonder Woman as the star. She’ll be orchestrating a jaw-dropping, out of the park Grand Slam, suitable for the Amazonian friendly 3D and IMAX format.
Adding Chris Pine as Wonder Woman’s love interest, Connie Neilsen as her Mom, and Robin Wright as her warrior cousin, makes waiting until the debut on June 2, 2017, more than enough time to ‘wash out 44 pair of socks and have ‘em hanging on the line’, cause Gal Gadot’s a W-O-M-A-N, and ‘that’s all’.
